Up & running.......until I get a stitch in my side and need to rest

Been trying to work up the motivation to put together a real blog for some time. Finally boredom overrode laziness and viola, here I am manning the keys. My goal is to try (operative word) to track my path through the nursing program from its inception through its eventual (hopeful?) culmination.

Thus far I have managed to go through little more than 4K collecting credits for prerequisites. All told, I think I will have 1,726 credit hours when I begin the program (it is a rough estimate and I am a terrible estimator, but it should be noted that I did attend school for a long time). I have shimmied and shook the rust off beginning last summer in a Nutrition course (A-), plowed and pushed my way through Anatomy 1 & 2 (A & A) and Health through the Lifespan course (A) and am bitching and moaning my way through Microbiology (might not buy a vowel here).

Currently I am embroiled in the sitting on my hands and waiting game for the Fuld Scholarship. Meaning up to 25% of my schooling could be paid for. The rest of the money will come from wise investments into pyramid schemes, plasma sales, and letting my paychecks ride on the number 24 on the Roulette Wheel. Some call this foolhardy, but those are the same naysayers that claim the lottery shouldn't be used for investment purposes (we cant all be mathematicians).

So, as updates warrant, I shall post. Even if they don't warrant, I will probably do so anyway (I have some time on my hands at the moment). In the meantime, try to find a comfortable chair, turn on the Manilow, and check back periodically. School starts in May.
